Seminar Topics for Young Engineers of the Society

Good day Young Engineers!

In line with the CPD Requirements for the Renewal of PRC License, the Young Engineers Committee would like to hold seminars/training/classroom discussions for young aeronautical engineers.

To begin this activity, we would like to know the topics that you wish to be discussed. Preferably, the speakers/trainers/instructors would be members of the Young Engineers Committee as well.

Please note that all members of the society whose age is 35 years or below is considered as members of the Young Engineers Committee.

    1. Hi Mr. Herico. The CPD Law will be discussed during our General Assembly on June 24, 2017 at the AVR of the PATTS College of Aeronautics. Questions will also be entertained. We hope to see you participate in this event.

        I would be glad to know if SAEP already has the procedures in acquiring CPD units, especially for engineers working abroad (like me) who normally cannot attend SAEP activities?

        Additionally, how can we (OFWs) acquire corresponding SAEP CPD units for the training/seminars gained overseas?

        1. Good day Engr. Fuentes,

          CPD is mandated by PRC and is a requirement in the renewal process. PRC decides on the number of CPD units to be accredited in every seminar/training that you attend. SAEP is only a CPD-Provider in which we try to apply for CPD Programs to help our members in acquiring the specified points. If you are not able to attend CPD-accredited programs, you may submit certificates of your training/seminars abroad to PRC for their review. This can be accredited under the Self-Directed/Lifelong Learning. Kindly visit the CPD Section under the PRC Website for the Frequently Answered Questions.
